François Lurton FL N°9 Sauvignon Blanc IGP 2017

WINES NOTES:

The 2015 harvests were characterized by fairly intense weather conditions. In the Languedoc-Roussillon, the winter was milder than usual, but less sunny. Spring arrived two weeks early a. After a sunny summer and two heat waves, the harvest was slightly early for the white grapes, in optimal conditions. High temperatures led us to increase the frequency of ripeness testing for the white grapes, in order to pick them at the aromatic peak, with the optimal balance between acidity, and sugars. This year the balance of the white grapes should result in more body on the mid-palate.

TASTING NOTES:

Fresh and typical of Sauvignon wines with a combination of citrus and boxwood aromas. It is elegant and wellbalanced in the mouth, long finish due to the wine’s acidity, notes of citrus.
